Details:
Computers store all permanent information on a piece of hardware called a hard disk drive. You can imagine it as a big warehouse full of shelves that store boxes of information - like how you arranged your desktop, your documents, music, your shortcuts and programs.
But what happens when you buy a new computer? All the information is still on the old hard drive! Or Imagine if the hard drive becomes corrupted - in our analogy this would be like one of the shelves has been damaged, and could bring down other shelves (like dominoes).
In both cases the best course of action is to clone the hard drive to a new drive. This is done by carefully rebuilding the warehouse onto the new drive - so the end result is a perfect duplicate (without any damaged shelves)
The Service Includes:
- Creating a Backup of the old drive
- Moving the backup on the new hard drive
- Verifying that all settings and data on the new drive are exactly the same as the old drive.
